Since February, ECS has been taking precautionary measures in our approach to COVID-19 with guidance from the California Department of Public Health (CDPH), the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Department of Social Services (DSS), and county and local departments of health. We are acting with an abundance of caution, as this virus has the most significant impact on the population we serve. We recognize that these precautions may be inconvenient, but they are being implemented in adherence to guidance from these reliable sources.
The World Health Organization says that every single person living in a country with the virus must take responsibility for limiting its spread. This is the way ECS is approaching its precautionary measures to protect everyone, including our residents, staff, and their families.
There will be no better outcome than for all of us to look back on this time and know that we successfully protected each other by choosing to be cautious and follow the recommended protocol of the Safer at Home Order.
We will continue to communicate frequently and openly to share important information about the virus and any developments affecting our communities.
